Venous Compression Syndrome of the Left Common Iliac Vein
Clinical details
Congestion syndrome of the left lower extremity. A phlebography was performed to exclude a thrombosis, followed by a MR-Venography.
Summary of findings
Compression syndrome of the left common iliac vein by the crossing right common iliac artery (arrow). Venous collateral circulation via large-caliber presacral collaterals to the right side. Intravascular contrast agent enables imaging of venous vessels of the pelvis.
