Iatrogenic aneurysm spurium in the bifurcation of the left femoral artery.

Summary of findings

30 mm aneurysm spurium of the left femoral artery as complication following a cardiac catheterization was discovered. Consecutive thrombosis of the deep femoral vein and its tributaries as a consequence of the local compression in the common femoral vein caused by the aneurysm.
